Cape Cod Addition, Brewster, MA

Back in Brewster to do another addition to this classic Cape (Tower addition done in 2000). During the pandemic, our clients ended up spending a lot more time at this house. They really liked living here and realized that they needed more space if they were going to make it their full time residence. While the property is a good size, the corner lot setbacks limited the size of another addition. A mud room, storage and a space separated from the noise of the main home were key. Balancing off our tower, the garage/barn addition provides that space while maintaining the New England character required by the local historic society.

Construction: Design approved by historic committee. Completion Spring 2023
