Astor Street Historical Renovation, Chicago, IL

Located in a landmark district on the near north side of Chicago, this historic urban Queen Anne home had been neglected over the years. A complete interior and exterior renovation was required to bring back the grandeur of an earlier time. Keeping with the period of the home, custom built-in cabinetry was designed in lieu of walk-in closets and storage units to maximize useable space in this unusually narrow building. A rooftop ‘city room’ was added for access to a lavish garden and to allow for views to Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago.
